WLSC Peru started its operations in 2011 when it was contracted by one of the largest companies in the country. Since its establishment, WLSC Peru quickly gained recognition in the Peruvian transportation and logistics industry and currently has agreements in major mining projects such as Constancia (initial production from Constancia is expected in late 2014 and full production in the second quarter of 2015; the mine is expected to produce 118,000 tons annually during the first five years of operation and 77,000 tons in subsequent years; the project has a life of 16 years), Las Bambas (the mine is due to start producing in 2015 and is expected to produce 2 million tons of copper in concentrate in its first five years of operation), Quellaveco and Toromocho mines.
